This blended with bourbon vanilla brings an almost frothy cold, minty interpretation. I just want my home to smell like Aura. It turns into See's red licorice candies on me. If you enjoy the tropical images (maybe you are from a warm place, or want to go there), this it for you. The combination smells dangerous to me, and I like it. The vanilla is also a bit play-dough like in the opening (I find that vanilla can sometimes do that, an example is Tangier Vanille by Aerin). Aura is perfect for cool autumn and spring days. I absolutely love the opening punch to the drydown that's round, full and BEAUTIFUL! It reminds me of smashing fresh green leaves to make potions in the woods as a kid, a perfect bridge between my magical childhood and my magical practice as a grown woman. I smell sour rhubarb and green notes in the opening. what i get from this first is it smells warm and green and putrid.

I appreciate the uniqueness of this fragrance, but something in here is hitting me like ammonia in the back of the nose. It's certainly intriguing. What can I say for this beautiful bottle!!! Until today, the sun showed its face and I thought I would give it whirl. Anyways this perfume has develop nicely on me and I have gotten compliments from my family and coworkers. Both Aura EDT and Dossier's version of Perfect remind me of Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea, green, floral and slightly earthy. It's fresh and warm at the same time. I cant make up my mind about this one as it seems to get muddled on my throughout the wear time. When i opened the drawer i was welcomed by this sweet, slightly green vanilla scent. The rhubarb is what gives it that luminance and the green and woody notes give it that depth. Mugler quality and packaging are amazing, I'm a bit sad I wouldn't enjoy it all the way, just a few times per summer maybe. Attempting to describe this perfume is almost comical because it's such a bizarre fragrance. At that time i only love oriental vanilla that are sweets but unique like Dior HP edt. Yes, she's weird. Well if you ask me, I like Aura a lot. This is definitely what a fairy would smell like. This is a very odd fragrance. A little overripe and sour but in a good way.

It's like an unpleasant mint (I usually love mint tea though) or medicine that makes my tongue feel weird on the sides and makes me salivate (not in a good way!). Longevity is over the top, it'll last a day and stick through long showers. First half an hour I am in a green gardenafter that I am in a pink cloud. It tastes like dish soap. Such an unusual perfume. Its just gorgeous and performs well. Forest witch. What's not to love? Perfect balance of green, woody, mossy, sweet. I also get cocoa, or some type of chocolatey nuances. and I've been wearing it today. Office friendly with beautiful light sillage. It is unique and needs confidence to wear. Not in a way like grass plus sugar, but if you cut a stem of a sweet smelling flower and there's the sweet juice seeping out of it. Definitely its not a fragrance that will be liked from everyone. Putting some on now, rubbing my wrists together as they allegedly request that you do, I keep hoping and waiting for the moment when things change and it all makes sense to me!

It was way, and i mean WAY more green and less sweet. I put it on at 7:30 this morning, and thought it was mostly gone by 3:30. mugler 90ml edp aura comprasparaguai Decadence is sweeter, feminine, projects better and lasts a lot longer. this lasts quite long if you layer it with the shower milk, not to mention how beautiful the bottle is. It reminds me a bit of pepto bismal. i do like all the notes separately but this didn't come together for me. I am very saddened that L'oreal has killed Aura. I found the EDT headache inducing. Definitely not blind buy safe, but I think all Muglers should be taken for a test drive before purchasing. I keep wanting to smell it but kind of don't like it. This fragrance and I have a love/hate relationship. Strong, sharp, not well blended. My boyfriend loves this scent and had to buy it for me. the juicy greenness offset by the menthol-y mint in the top is probably what throws me off the most, but i actually find it quite balanced here (as opposed to something like eros where i'm just drowning in toothpaste smell.) Definitely unique. And something like pear candy? But my overall opinion of this is quite favorable. Aura is my third and final Mugler sample after the great Angel and the bewilderingly popular Alien. I also need to test the EDT and Aura Sensualle to compare.

the cold tropical rain is now hitting your warm naked body and the vanilla scented lotion you applied after your morning shower is fading away as the smell of greenness of the forest takes over. The dry down is ok but I would say Alien is better overall. . I love this! Of course this is not a safe blind buy but its one of the most interesting and unique scents out there released in recent times while also being very enjoyable and pleasant to wear for any occasion.

So where Angel took us on a heavenly journey and Alien crosses us between the distant dunes of the unknown Aura takes us to the exotic extreme. I wish I were better at picking out individual notes. After 4 hours I still have strong smell of what reminds me Loulou.I cant explain why maybe the flower (ylang-yland and orange blossom in common), the sweeter side, a very feminine fragrance kind of very classy old-fashioned one well-dressed from the 60S At the end, 6-8h after I have a tiny bit of woody masculine note and this became the fragrance of Loki.

Aura is one of the safer mugler perfumes and the ultimate green fragrance. Both of them emit a very strange (but pleasant, at least in my opinion) smell. Creamy and green, when this dries down it takes me back to halloween because it somehow smells exactly like walking through strangers yards but also those little white candy sticks in Fun Dip. I love it. I find it intriguing and mysterious. Give it a chance. I was pretty excited for this because I've had really good experiences with Mugler fragrances.

It is super unique and the bottle is beautiful. it's definitely it's own niche so idk why it was discontinued. Too bad. Life is too short to be wet blankets! Terrible. If you like strong perfumes I reccomend ! Wear this during an heat wave in a big city you'll feel like in a mysterious green jungle. Gorgeous, transparrent, alluring. I tried the EDT and though it wasn't for me, it didn't smell like mold.

I find it aroma-therapeutic, comforting, homey scent, summer or winter. I find this almost salty as well.

It does have a green quality, but nothing like the fresh green I was expecting, its more of a bitter green edge to a tangy vanilla pear, with a creamy soft woody base. It's interesting because to me this leans masculine or unisex, but the masculine side of unisex. I mean, it's fruity, why would you want it in winter? As another reviewer said below, this perfume is the final part of the Mugler trilogy - Angel, Alien, Aura. But I wouldn't consider it very green. Makes me think of Body Fantasies Twilight Mist, mostly. But to be honest, I spray it quite often in my living room, on my sofa, bit on the carpet. Its not the sort of medicine that would sting as it cleans a cut but more like a cooling salve that would take the heat out of a burn. Well, medicinal, sure, in a good way, and powdery/waxy and sweet and rather green - the strange, borderline toxic green coloring of the perfume is a good match for its scent.

Worth the money and would be an amazing signature, which it is for my mum so unfortunately I won't be wearing it! It smells like moss, a little bit like menthol and vanilla. But i'm so happy to have her. It smells sweet, green and kind of medicinal at first then dries down to an herbal, soft and warm vanilla scent. The rhubarb is delightful and fruity, almost sparkling. I like both of the flankers more. First its a kind of Poison Ivys fragrance : medicinal, even herbaceous, mysterious, with. So I managed to get the EDP at a very reasonable price. I love this one. It's a lot softer and sweeter than that, but I feel it has the same general scent direction. Fruity and amber sillage. There are makeup-like notes somewhere in the background here too. Even though it is a bold smell, it's not offensive. Muglers Aura is a gorgeous vanilla drunk fairy that lingers forever wherever this potion is sprayed. Lovely. I want to love this, I love Alien and like Angel. Its so hard to describe truly. So, you know when youre a kid and you eat all your peas because your parents say they are good for you and you never know, you might just end up liking it? If you want to stand out in summer then wear this.

But again, none of that will enable anyone reading this who hasn't smelled it for themselves to imagine it. Then it begin to transform from the root beer smell, to a greenery smell that I believe is Rhubarb because I have smell that in one of the greenhouses when I went purchase some plants for my trundle on my kitchen window for the spring and summer months. Sorry but it's really unpleasant to my nose. You're in the jungle hacking your way through the lush greenery while you smack on some bubblegum. Like freshly cut grass and smashed leaves. I admit, I don't wear it that often, I wear EdT way more often, but I have a lot of fragrances to chose from. But let me tell you this. This really is a gorgeous wet green forest and lush vanilla. Totally wearable, day to night, Mugler dna, you hate it or love it.

This is a somewhat unisex unique smell - i definitely recommend it for both genders - although it does lean towards feminine. Maybe for fun I might layer with Viva La Juicy Couture Gold.

I think if you like sweet perfumes this is not something to be afraid of, don't be scared of reviews saying it's weird. I think this fragrance is definitely odd, but still likeable. But if you know, you know. Unusual, fresh and sweet, and yet very mild but lasting scent.

And because of that I don't understand people who voted this for any season but summer. Smells creamy, wet and green. I have the mini splash. I know it's TMI but honestly. Well, Muger Aura is a strange one. The heart-shaped bottle is the color of life, luck, hope, intuition and the color of harmony between body, soul and emotions. This is such a unique scent, it is hard to describe without smelling it. I can smell : dark leafy greens, some non-sweet vanilla, banana leaf (don't ask why, this perfume makes me think about fresh banana peels), some dirty woody smell. Such an underrated fragrance. This is for those who dwell the jungle and hide from the outsiders. I do not understand this fragrance. It has a little bit green fresh smell but I do not get the sharp green bug spray smell. My first thought upon spraying it was, "moss." I don't know what it is but it makes me feel pretty. I do smell all the green vanilla everyone mentions, but for me it is an absolute fail. It also somehow reminds me of absinthe. The camphor is there fleetingly. Smells to me like box dye and/or the tiny tube of conditioner that comes with it. its very different from angel and alien with how it's more green than gourmand. Im sorry lol but this is just what I imagine and I hope I can always find this perfume.

Masterpiece. My entire body dislikes this. Some find it green, some sweet, it's quite interesting to see so many different opinions/reactions. I'm trying to like it. The uniqueness still there maybe the green notes that i quite notice. I absolutely LOVE Aura. Later at home i put that strip in a drawer.

Thats sad because was incredible good fragrance. i just tried returning alien fusion because i didn't really like her. it smells a bit musky in the way of acid and pollen emitted from said plant might smell like. I dont smell anything green about this fragrance. There was something in the back of the pretty mint and vanilla that was just off for me. It dries down to a rather wearable pretty woody floral. At all! But only for the first couple minutes. Smelling up close it does have a little bit of that unpleasant medicinal smell other people describe but luckily for me this went away pretty quickly and what is left is this gorgeous rich vanilla with a really unusual twist. Thierry Mugler's fragrances always evoke gourmand sweetness, the continuous almost childish reference to the delicacies of creation. (I realise watermelon isnt in the notes, maybe its the rhubarb leaf?). Maybe I'll come back with a more positive update. I think it's the rhubarb leaf and ylang-ylang notes that ruin it for me. The green notes predominate and then comes the rhubarb. It's not a sharp green smell at all, it is more of an aromatic green supported by a warm woody and sweet base. Its a fragrance which evokes imagery. In addition to putting the sense of smell into play, he also works on taste and sight for the spectacular nature of his sculpture bottles. When you use the perfume for the first time you immediately associate it with the color green. The smell is super deep green woody, plants and forest, a hint of pine trees and something medicinal, later vanilla and sweetness appears. but i asked my sister to pick out a note that WASN'T vanilla or woods and she said she wasn't sure. I like to pair this with coromandel I find them a bit similar. I have to be in the mood to wear this. I would love to get a full bottle! RIP Thierry :(. It's so weird and so good. I understand why others are calling it medicinal, but I would go a step further and call it nasty. Honestly, for me it was like a Grandma version of Alien. Im getting 70% fabric softener and 30 % bubble gum. I think its very beautiful but in my opinion its not overly unique except the opening. First perfume I bought from Mugler, and it instantly became my signature scent.
