1st of all, the pole pieces aren't made to the right specs so they don't snap together.

This time I bought a new one and it is really a great little vacuum. So I just unplugged it after four hours, used it the next time (each cleaning took about 30 minutes) and the battery ran down just before I finished.

We had removed almost all of the heavier debris from the pool bottom with our regular vacuum over the past couple evenings (but have quickly tired of fighting with hoses and having to replace all the water we lost in the process of course). Turn it on submerge and let the cleaning begin.

Hopefully this one will last longer than my usual 2 years. I always drain it out before storing and it has never failed.

Unless there is something electronically wrong with your Pool Buster, simply loosen slightly (counter clockwise) the knob (same one you need to remove in order to charge your unit). I have the new "Li" model and it works great so far. I have been looking for something that I could easily stick in the pool and suck up that nuisance stuff on the bottom with out going through the hose dance.
