People are always asking what I'm wearing. I won't be really wearing it but it has certain charm to it. Nothing groundbreaking but its a fruity musk rose. Smells like delicate soft roses with pear, not screechy at all. This is a new fragrance. I would expect something more daring or sophisticated from Givenchy. I think they did a great job of bringing rose and iris to a new generation of noses.

I must admit that I've been a little stuck on my way to find a signature fragrance for the warmer evenings, so am very relieved to discover that Givenchy's Irresisitible seems to be a good contender. First spray smelled like fruity beer. This can be worn for any occasion! Its not offensive in any way, rather clean and comforting, just not my taste. I like it, but I definitely dont love it. A very sweet and pleasure summer fragrance. I got a free mini bottle in an online order. I had to work hard to get the stench off of me! I appreciate the addition of some juicy fruit and also the rose/iris combination. Iris is just like a small touch, I also like so much iris for the powdery note (not too strong, just perfect for me). It's a luminous, sparkling, musky, fruity, blooming rose of a fragrance. Shares DNA with "Delina" by Parfums De Marly and even more so with "Hayati" by Attar Collection. It's mostly a fresh fragrance but it is nice to wear on slightly colder days. Its better than Very Good Girl which turns plasticky on me, but to me it gives a similar vibe just a bit lighter on the rose. The opening was a beautiful pear, very strong, but after a few minutes it became very aquatic on my skin :(. I'm pretty sure I can count on one hand how many times I've eaten pears in my entire life; the texture absolutely disgusts me, like a harder gala apple.

Not cute. Irresistible Givenchy by Givenchy is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. I was surprised that there is no vanilla listed in the notes. When I smell it from bottle I did like it but when I put it on it smell really soapy so Im bit disappointed. Very floral and fruity at the same time, but in a very exquisite and luxurious combination. It is somehow interesting; to me it smells like tart strawberry milkshake - not thick and synthetic, but something you make yourself from freshly picked strawberries and skim milk. A little goes a long way. The rose and iris emerges and that's when this fragrance shines. I was hoping for more. Smells exactly the same on paper as on skin for at least the first two hours. Overall, pleasant and long lasting, but generic. It's just incredibly beautiful. Preface : Everyone has different tastes. I'm a bit shocked at how much I liked this on my skin. When I smell the sample or smell right after I've sprayed it on myself, it's so, so good. It gets softer on the dry down but the original smell is still there, just toned down. It starts out really pretty, I enjoyed the opening. This is definitely something you can put on after the shower or a safe scent for work. I love pear in fragrances, and this is a lovely fruity Rose, with a musky, powdery dry down. I cant stop smelling myself when I wear it. I find the muskiness keeps it from being too young for me. There is no crispness here, and no bottom like Lancome's Idole, for example, which I would definitely choose over this one.This is only "Blaah" to me. I wear this when I want to smell pink & sweet. Nothing synthetic about it , it has a musky freshness , my husband thought it smelled very pretty !

it maybe reminds me of a sunnier less standardized version of lancme's idole. It is classy like the bottle. I looove sweet scents but this one is the perfect balance, its not sickly sweet but also has a nice soft smell to it (its the rose! My adidas edt lasts longer on me. Love this! I can deal with the fact that it's only a skin scent on me but the deal-breaker is the weak longevity. I got this in a sample bag and was really excited to try it. I'm not a huge floral fan but it makes sense I like this since pear is the top note. I am so confused how majority of people said it has an enormous sillage.

The sweetness can be too much so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone who doesn't really like sweet scents. This is a really beautiful fragranceuntil it dries down on me. Although I dont think I found a pay-full-price-cant-be-without scent love, I can see myself thinking about this and wanting it in my spring/summer rotation because the dry down is worth the rattling introduction. I don't know why it's so depressing to me, but it is. irresistible isn't that perfume, but i think after having gone though a full bottle, that's for the best. I was given a few samples of this yesterday when I was purchasing at Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada for those of you who are unsure ) and I expected to hate it, because-no offence to Givenchy, but I have not yet am found any of their fragrances that I can say I love, and thats not ever happened with any brand that I can say there isnt at least one fragrance I like, but this brand as whole just havent found any, so this is the one I guess that I could say I find nice. I don't know how I got suckered into this scent, probably because after trying several scents at Ulta, I might have been smelling something else and this smelled like lovely fresh floral fruity scent. I'd expect this release from Marc Jacobs before Givenchy. gives me high school senior straight A student vibes. I think this is a great spring scent. An irresistible perfume for women, its top notes of sparkling fruity pear and ambrette add a subtle hint of vibrancy with a floral heart and touch of musk at the base. I paid so much money for something that smells and lasts like a VS body mist . I have another Givenchy perfume, l'inderdit, and I do not have this issue with that one. when i saw reviews mentioning the freshness i was put off a little, because i dont mind fresh scents but i dont love them either. When I read the notes Idole by Lancome immediately came to my mind don't love the bottle but the juice is very pretty. And I must agree with some of the reviewers that it does smell like cotton candy! And which lasts only couple of hours if that. I also get a musk in the dry down. I don't normally like the rose accord in perfumes neither the musky ones but THIS. This is hands doen one of the best perfumes of 2020, I went to Macy's smelled the tester and came home with it, get lots of compliments, someone in the comments said it smells like S original, there is absolutely no way this smells like S, which i also own and can tell you is not true. It opens up with bright pear, in your face fruit with some indistinguishable floral mixed in. It's feminine, slightly mysterious and pretty. slightly reminds me of god is a woman by ariana grande. It will probably work all year, although I consider it kinda spring like daytime. I find it has a more gourmand vibe than a fruity floral, which normally isnt my thing but in this it just works so well. For the base tones I could feel a very mild hint of rustic sweetness that I assume is the pear. When I got home I sprayed it on my wrist (3 sprays) and it vanished within 15 mins. I usually LOVE pear notes in perfume and in real life, but I thought this was VERY generic! I don't know why, but reminds me of Flowerbomb, kinda same vibe. I was ready for Irresistible to be a little underwhelming based on the reviews, but I thought it was really lovely. Not even she would wear it. If you are contemplating on buying it, definitely test it first. I expected it to be pretty, light and boring. It smells like candy to me. This is the perfect signature daytime or work scent in my opinion. So bummed about that. It's a bit generic but I honestly really liked this when I smelt it on a sample. It smells much cheaper than it costs. I don't notice any other notes, although you could argue iris is present. I sprayed it on her wrist for her to try, she liked it so I gave it to her. The pear is very present and if you like fruity scent, it is very pleasant too. I was looking for a spring perfume and this definitely screams spring, just so girly but not in a juvenile way. Opens up similar to delina like a creamy rose. It quickly transitions into white musk with very fine floral undertones which last the longest; a combination that reminded me of a more old-fashioned feminine scent, like the musky sprays that were popular back in the day but I wouldn't want to wear personally.

I dislike fruity fragrances as they always give me headaches. I received a sample and hadnt seen it in the box till now. It's not bad, it's present in a way that will cause me to pass on it. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . While it smells completely different in the opening, as it develops it smells oddly similar to Montale Intense Cafe with an added soapiness. And a very well done pear note. Smells like a woman, and im not sure im quite there yet. Since it's somewhat one dimensional, I'd normally say it's not worth the money, but it lasts forever.

I wouldnt purchase this for retail price. I find it very cloying. Its a nice spring fragrance. On my skin this is very powdery and I even a bit lipstick-y. It reminds me of JPG La Belle (must be the pear) not quite as sweet with a bit musk and powder but its less serious compared to La Belle, more playful and lighter. This is one of them. Sadly. A rosy musky fragrance that is very generic and a safe buy. When l'interdit, which I love, is to loud I would take this. To me-if Pink Sugar and sweet like candy had a babythis would be her! Just OK. I agree, this opens with some fruit cocktail pear, but also smells of lemon. Feminine but fresh, not sure about the sillage as testing from vial sample, but could be bottle worthy for spring time as its pretty. Lasts until washed on my clothes. Projects like a little pink beast so don't overspray it. i would love it if someone buy it for me but i am not sure to invest in it because this is a very common smell. Torn on this one. It's not my usual thing so I can smell it harshly for an hour or 2 before I become noseblind. It's not cloying or overly sweet, it smells refreshing. After 7 hours of wear I could still smell it on my wrists but its not out there in your face. Its sweet and pretty inoffensive - my first thought was raspberry bonbons, which I quite enjoyed. The pear is overwhelmingly strong for me through the development, doesn't read to me as a floral at all. For sure, it is a floral, fruity perfume. Pear, rose and musk, very delicate and elegant. Reminds me of the first Very Irresistible (when they both settle and react with my skin) more than any of its flankers. Half decent. Simple, floral, sweet & pretty. It smells nice, girly and pink but not too sweet. Intended to be hypnotic, so only wear it if you're comfortable commanding attention. On me it stays pretty flat and I cannot really detect rose, only the ripe pear with some powdery iris and a sweet base. Well made,excellent quality! love the powdery smell along with the musk. Rose is one of the only florals I like, and paired with the pear it smells heavenly. Its smells fruity sweet fresh in a light way, but with longevity. The pear is at the forefront of both and theyre both quite sweet. I tested it today. Irrsistible Givenchy is available as 35, 50, and 80 ml Eaux de Parfum. Several more hours later she texted me that she just got out of the shower and she can still smell it. Givenchy is generally a house that I tend to enjoy.

I am kinda surprised I like this! This is a very flirty, playful, daytime type scent. The rose brings in the much needed freshness. Probably Givenchys answer to Idole. Rose and iris can both be a bit iffy for me but here I don't mind them- the rose is not cloying and this isn't too powdery at all. This smells especially like rose, iris and musk. Warm, sweet and rich, it really is irresistible. Not my thing though :) but I'd gladly buy this as a gift for *any* of my friends and be sure that they would like it! This is truly amazing! Rose scents usually never work for me and dont smell good on me (especially Flowerbomb :/) but I finally found one that does! (I like Delina more.) I prefer by far this perfume compare to Delina of Parfum de Marly, other Givenchi perfumes, etc. But it is fabulous, uplifting, and expensive smelling. I like Irresistible- it's pleasant, likable, and makes me feel pretty but it's nothing earth shattering and the performance wasn't too great- it lasted on my skin for about 4 hours and the scent stayed close to my skin. Slightly more grown up, but the same level of marshmallowy sweetness. Upon first sniff I was certainly underwhelmed. I get the comparisons to Idole w the pear note, but this is much softer and dewier.
