To me this is a scent you could wear any time of the year too. I really overdid it with this perfume because I went nose blind to it for a short while lol. It would give me a headache! Perhaps because the cotton candy immediately monopolizes the nose, but it has that fruity facet, that practically sticks together with the caramel. With that in mind, I absolutely hate this perfume. Love. the first time I smelt this I wasn't crazy about it for whatever reason, I randomly bought it on an amazon sale and I'm IN LOVE with it. Got told I smelled delicious by some girls in uni. If you don't like very sweet scents you would hate this. It reminds me of a more subdued Cloud or even Burberry Her minus that weird ground up Flinstones Chewable Vitamins vibe. Okay. Super sweet and candy-like vanilla centric super sexy fragrance. i would judge you if you wore this around me. This fragrance is absolutely beautiful! Very faint, cheap sweet licorice and that's it. This is a staple in many peoples collections. scrub Pink sugar is exactly what you expect it to be, its always been popular but recently I was seeing it everywhere and I decided to finally buy a bottle and Im glad I did! Terrible, would not bother to give it another try. I can still smell it on my clothes after 2 days so you do the math! I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it several times, I really like the scent. Theres that slight woody/smoky note, almost like caramel thats been slightly burnt, like when you torch the sugar on top of crme brle. Anyone in the Portland, OR area looking to swap- let me know! so good get this!!!!! I have all three and while they have sugary/cotton candy sweetness in common, they are three distinct, lovely fragrances in their own rights. My juice is 100% clear still. I LOVE this perfume. One said cotton candy to be specific. This is just the kind of sickeningly sweet perfume I was looking for. I'm thinking others have older bottles. Nicky Minaj is Secretary of Defense. You either adore it or despise it. I was given this perfume as a gift, and at first I didn't really care for it. YUM. It is not sophisticated in the slightest and definitely appeals to a younger audience, but it smells good and to me that's all that matters! On me it stays sweet like a vanilla cookie but it does have something sexy in there that I cant quite put my finger on. Maybe we do really have different olfactory and different body chemistry. I had mistaken it for Love's Baby Soft and discovered Loves that way lol I would see it at stores or hear about it on YouTube but never realized it was my missing puzzle piece. Unfortunately I didn't like this myself. It smells like a barbie doll which was burnt with fire from a lighter. Followed by Nazi Teletubbies, Hansel and Gretel running from some old woman that wants to eat them. I dont know what happened but I sprayed again a couple hours ago and its a beautiful sugary sweet cotton candy/caramel fragrance. Katy Perry is Secretary of State. so I do not regret the blind buy. Love pink sugar definitely one of my favorites in my collection, definitely good for layering. I like to layer this over traditionally "masculne" fragrances to make them more "feminine". I don't get other people saying it smells synthetic/burnt rubber or heady.

however, for the past 10 years ive been buying an incense called pink sugar from a local spiritual store and never really connected the dots behind its inspiration - i really think if this ever received another update, the incorporation of a woody-resinous note akin to the kind present in the incense sticks would really make this my holy grail fragrance. I mostly get cotton candy and caramel but slightly burnt. It lasts a long time and you can definitely smell it. Yes this is very sweet, but I don't think it smells childish at all. the licorice is so strong and horrible :( i think everything else is gorgeous but the licorice is too much for me i just had to throw it out. As someone who loves cotton candy fragrances, I always knew Pink Sugar was something I wanted to try. I dont get cotton candy or caramel, but more like a baked butter sugar cookie, or a frosted cupcake that you took the time to make totally from scratch with a little spice or zest added. I feel a bit old for this scent but I don't care. It was a bad combination of notes, IMO, and there are WAY better perfumes out there than this one that are major compliment getters (from men). Its sickenly sweet and reminds me of cotton candy, but burnt. I hate it. I'm not a big fan od sweet perfumes but I had to get this one. It's quite nice but definitely more mature than I was expecting. There's something bit stingy.

A really lovely, sweet gourmand. It's very sweet, but not headache inducing. Let me preface this with one thing: if you do like this scent, you're in luck, because it's going on hour 7 after one spritz of this and I STILL smell it on me. I remembered hearing great things about this one over the years and when I saw it in a reputable online store for a great price, I went for it. Definitely worth the price. I bought this via internet as I had no other choice and I must say this wouldn't be a perfume I would have bought if I did have the opportunity to test this in advance. Smells like strawberry candy in a non juvenile way. I can still smell it on my pillows the next morning even. It smells exactly like cotton candy- specifically, the kind you get at the carnival. It's super gourmand and it smells absolutely fantastic! I excitedly ripped open the packaging and sprayed Sweet cotton candy scented fragrance. It is fun, and very girly and smells like pink cotton candy, red berries and caramel. (-: Very sweet scent after the opening. Yes, it's a little immature. There's nothing sophisticated or elegant about it, but it brings me out of bad or sad moods. Lovely and sweet scent,good for value . I've avoided Pink Sugar for so long. I've always thought it was my nose, it used to happen also when I smelled it on others: smelled like licorice on some and like baked goods on others before I realized that Pink Sugar simply changes with time, at least this is what happened in my case. This scent and I are one and the same, I refuse to be perceived outside of this scent. It is an easy reach for sweet scent lovers like me. But after a while on the skin it gets really good and so soft. I feel the licorice note gives this sweet scent character and keeps it from being a boring sugary sweet perfume. If you loved "Love at first glow by J.lo" back in the day as much as I did, this is a good replacement. I will admit - at it's worst it has a licorice-y chemically smell, but this appears in 1 out of 100 sprays for me generally. But then I tried it in summer, and OMG it's amazing! The mixed opinions on this perfume are completely valid and understandable, which is why I was ambivalent on whether or not to give this another try, but I'm so happy that I did. I became addicted to it. Without a doubt, it performs better than most (if not all) perfumes I own. And Friendly's in every corner. Lasts all day on your skin and even longer on clothes. Longevity is bad. If you love sweet gourmand scents then this is a totally safe blind buy. Very light and sweet. It's a classic scent I always come back to. It's sugary sweet, but the licorice and musk give this an extra dimension that makes it appealing to my nose. I have just the smallest amount left from years ago and reach for it when Im feeling nostalgic. Personally, I cant really smell any of the fruity notes here. I've seen this on various YouTube videos and there is just something about the packaging too that drew me into it as I was imagining the possible sweetness of it. It's so sweet and girly and oddly fresh somehow. Boyfriend thinks it's sexy in a youthful, playful kind of way. Im 33 now and this is still one of my favorites and hands down my most complimented fragrance! I got it from a ross for almost 30 dollars and found it for 9 almost a week later. I feel like the warm caramel and vanilla notes are the main stars of the show. Its a little too plain on its own, but it has great projection and longevity. I bought mine brand new so I have no idea, just thought Id make a side note of it. Quite genuinely the best longevity out of any perfume I've tried.

And I honestly feel something changed on it or my nose started to pick up different things, because within a week's time I started to love it. These sugary ones play well with other scent groups. I used to hate this. I get the liquorice toffee and strawberry candies with a gentle touch of tonka beans. I recently purchesed it and I was very suprised A lot of people told me that it smells like cotton candy but to me is very caramelish smelling. Lasting power is excellent, lasts more than a day.

Over time, it becomes more of an airy sweet vanilla & strawberry scent with the cotton candy still lingering in the background. It is too juvenile to wear on a date for my taste. For the price, you can't find a better deal on a fragrance imho. I didn't have much to compare it to. Too childish. It is so sweet it gives me a toothache just thinking about it. It is elegant and appropriate for any age. Its flirty and sweet but with some depth. It smelt exactly like this. They are also great for layering if you want to add some sweetness and youth to a more bitter, oriental, spicy scent. Now, for some reason I wanted to try this again :D and I don't know if it's been reformulated or my sense of smell has changed that much, but it's absolutely perfect to me now. It is long lasting but I don't feel like it's a pleasant smell on me. one day i love it and the next it makes me wanna throw up, mostly just because of the obnoxious top notes! Liquorice make this a bit dark and spicy. And it's not even an Eau de parfumvery good. As It settled Pink Sugar lost that medicinal note & developed into a sweet, powdery-vanilla skin-scent. I wore it three times until I got rid of it and everytime someone complimented the scent. It's the only perfume in my collection for which I can confidently say I hate it.

I have seen this everywhere online for such an affordable price, yet I never had the chance to smell a sample. If you like something then rock it like no one else in the world can! The comments have brought it to my attention, Pink Sugar is a nauseously sweet but my mind can't ignore the BURNT essence and the pepper? Its $20 at TJ Maxx and a great staple to have on hand. I had a complete stranger follow me around Disneyland just to tell me how good I smelled! Candy for flowers. Equivalent of eating white sugar. This will always be in my collection, I never get tired of it and I can wear it any day, it smells like realistic cotton candy that has just started to burn a little. I pick up on the licorice in this right away which I do like and apparently works for me. who can not like this scent? HOWEVER, if u wanna smell like that one beautiful candy shop from downtown that has custom candy you can make your own with heavy notes of a warm cotton candy, this is ur best bet! As body sprays are typically lighter than the EDT/EDP of a perfume, I found this to be a perfect way to make Pink Sugar more wearable. Cotton candy, sugary, caramely goodness. I had to get rid of it because I knew Id never wear it anyway. Sometimes I really crave this one, sweet burnt sugar, cottoncandy. I had to scrub my skin clean to get the scent off of me because i couldn't take it. Besides all the memories I have while wearing it, it really is a great perfume. I don't smell much vanilla but I can say that it's more of a prominent cotton-candy with the side of other faint notes that doesn't make this a heartache of a scent. Idk what's wrong with my bottle, it smells amazing but the longevity is TERRIBLE and the scent is too light. It has this drunken, love at first sight quality that I appreciate a grown up cotton candy for sure. Oh how it brings back memories of carefree childhood days! Its really long lasting as well, I sprayed it on my wrist in the afternoon and it survived a shower and a night's sleep - it was still there in the morning. Very very sweet, if you love sugar and sweet smells get this.

Can you ever go wrong with pink sugar? The tonka, caramel, vanilla and cotton candy come out with some warmth. I'll be honest, I have never really been interested in trying or owning this perfume. Synthetic with a hint of true sugar sweetness. Well, the more I've gotten into fragrance, the more I've realized that it's silly to be snobby, expensive isn't always better, and finding something awesome for cheap is a good thing, actually. I was at Ross today and saw a 1.0 oz bottle for $11.99.

when i first sprayed it, i was surprised by the scent as a liquorice note hits you right in the face, once it dries down the smell settles into a sweeter version of this although i definitely wouldn't say that it smelled like cookies on me :). And I didn't like it at all, it smelled weird and not even sweet to me, sold it right away basically. However, for the price, its pretty good. like an early 2000s youth movie where youre the slightly mean main character and your boyfriend is calling you on your flip phone but you roll your eyes because he loves you a little too much. I most often use it with the Pink Sugar body lotion that extends and deepens the already impressive longevity and strength, but I also layer it on occasion with Ciara, Cabochard, or Toujours Moi, with really nice results. So, I am smelling a heated, caramelized sugar it just reads as a baked good to my nose.

not a sexy smell! The dry down is beautiful though. To me, this smells like youve just baked something. A big bonus is that it does not have a "cheap" smell to it as most 10 dollar perfumes have, so if you are considering buying then go for it. Need I say more? personally this fragrance is wayyyyy to strong considering its an EDT and it is overwhelmingly sweet and I know that's the whole point but it genuinely makes my nose hurt and I ended up having to scrub it off my arm. A little goes a long way, sillage and projection are beast mode! This is remade in candles all the time. The opening is very sugary and sweet, definitely can smell the cotton candy and caramel notes, the licorice took me by surprise, so potent but lovely. The initial spray is super sweet and cotton candy, but the set in and dry down are a sweet musk. this was one of the first perfumes i bought to start off my perfume collection in march 2021. i liked that it seemed so divisive and i knew that if i liked it i would love it so i bought the 100ml blindly.

The final dry down I understand all the musk, sandalwood, and base scents that I get along with the licorice and caramel, but its like theyre good smells yet the combination just ruins it from being an amazing perfume for me. Please sample this before buying a full bottle; you'll either love it or hate it. It's pure sugary cotton candy and I don't smell the weird notes that I did once. I'm actually quite appalled by the reviewer that says a woman should smell "upper class." I have been wearing this off and on (mostly on) since I was 18. Not a headache inducing sweet either. I find it screechy and offensive. Smells very synthetic in the beginning. I do detect the licorice note, however it is not overwhelming and actually adds a sense of depth to the fragrance that I enjoy. Epicene Gamma IFF: The Common Part of Spicy Men's Colognes of the 1980s? The note pyramid makes me chuckle a bit.
