Our small group enjoyed magnificent tastings at each of the shops we visited before making our way to a wine cave to pair several excellent wines with the treats Neil had collected and carried for us on our journey in St-Germain-des-Pres. There is a good bit of walking on this tour (as with any city tour) but the food selections are so generous you will welcome the opportunity to burn some calories. We were stuffed and delighted upon leaving for our final stop at a specialty pastry shop.

My husband and I went on the North Marais food tour and it was one of our favorite things we did in Paris. The food we tasted was truly extraordinary- the best baguette, croissant, chocolate, cheese, and charcuterie I have ever tasted and so much of it that we didnt end up needing dinner after the tour.

I wish we had done the tour earlier in our trip so that we could have taken more advantage of what we learned, but Marion did recommend a great restaurant for dinner for our last night in Paris. My husband and I have been coming to Paris for over 20 years so to go to places we havent been was a treat. The reason why we do not visit the Butcher and Cheese Store on Mondays is because in Montmartre area they are closed, but rest assured that we provide you with fresh products from other artisans which are off the tour's area and all explanation is provided during the tasting.
