Didn't think to test resistance on the center pin when playing with the knob Nathan, it maybe changing output on the center pin. The outfeed table and the knives are level, the infeed table is adjusted by a knob telling me how deep the cut is going to be. Putting the board with the arc up will help, as will reversing the board after each of the initial cuts to help even out the ends. Check that the bit is fully fastened within the chuck and that it is tight and straight.
