Since both of the chairs had a really bold fabric, it took 3 coats of paint for each chair, misting with water on each coat with about 24 hours of drying time between each coat. Fingers crossed mine turn as as nice as yours. We buy ours locally from Cest Moi in Brentwood TN. The ones I did felt like sleeping sheets made of new unwashed burlap awful! The most informative was definitely this post by Hyphen Interiors. Play around with how to apply the wax.
