And of course beautiful beach.. But overall a beautiful experience! We felt like regulars at a local taverna and we cant say enough nice things about this place. Beef ribs were tender. However, the owner was friendly. George is the charcoal king of Santorini! Its a romantic, sweet post sunset dining.., but the food was sensational snd the host and servers very friendly and attentive! The cheese dip was surprising, because it was light weight, yet carried just the right amount of pizzazz to delight you. Great place to enjoy a meal while watching the beautiful sunset. Having a fixed menu helps with quality control, but it also allows the chef to master the menu and it was masterful. Super Mario was very kind and attentive as well. The pesto calamari appetizer was also a hit with our group. Overpriced but for those looking different experience might fit the bill. Can get quite windy but you get a very good view of the sunset. The food was absolutely amazing; we ordered a variety of dishes and each was better than the last. It has been a surprising gem in our journey and are very happy we came! We got the ceviche, Greek salad, shrimp appetizer, and lobster risotto. Do not miss out on this spot! There were a few that came before the appetizers and a few that came when we were done. The monkfish was nicely cooked and the accompanying dolmada was maybe a step too far the familiar to bother calling it as such, but again tasted good. When it came time to order we shared our initial request, but after asking what we were looking for, our two waiters helped give suggestions. It was a super pleasant and peaceful experience. As desert the tiramisu is a real recommendation. The food here was good, and the view as well. It is expensive so mentally prepare for that. Initially the price caught us off-guard, but the food, wine, and experience was phenomenal. We were on the top floor which is open air. The atmosphere is very pleasant with very good staff, the menu is varied and they truly serve fresh quality fish and seafood. The service was good as well, and the prices very reasonable. Now the fish of the day could have had more spice but that's our southern seafood bias. If you want to eat great food with amazing views only there! Pirouni has great reviews and views, so we thought we couldnt lose. Despite it being a popular time to eat, our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table. The only problem with Argo is that you need to book it many days in advance , especially during the summer months of June, July, August and September as it gets fully booked. However, Sphinx has one of the largest selection of wines on the island with more than 400 lables, all kept in the underground cellar which used to be the old buildings water tank. - Grilled octopus with fava bean mash I wasnt blown away by the flavors of any particular dish, but the presentations were very creative and the view is pretty spectacular. The food below average. Had a birthday meal at La Maison, perfect sunset, perfect staff with perfect service. But they really tried their best. Ive eaten at Alma and Im not sure if these should be compared since Alma has 2 Michelin stars but Laudas Emmanuel Renaut has 3 Michelin stars.
